Ford Family Scholarship Programs

The Ford Family Scholarship Programs are offered to students in Oregon and Siskiyou County, CA. These renewable scholarships award up to 90% of each student’s unmet financial need for school. There are four different programs available that students can apply for: The Ford Scholars Program is open to graduating high school seniors, and continuing community college students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree and are ready to transfer to a four-year college. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, CA.

The Ford Opportunity Program is designed for single parents who are heads of household and who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, CA.

The Ford Sons and Daughters Program serves dependents (21 years of age or younger) of employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. This program is offered in Oregon, Siskiyou County, CA, and other regions.

The Ford ReStart Program supports non-traditional adult students beginning or returning to full-time post-secondary education. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, CA.

The deadline for these scholarships is March 1st of each year.

Applicants are required to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for the Ford Scholars, Ford Opportunity, or Ford ReStart Program. Applicants are not required to fill out a FAFSA for the Fords Sons and Daughters Program; however, the foundation recommends filling out a FAFSA to check if the applicant is eligible for other financial aid opportunities.
