LearningLaw® was formed around, and founded on, one simple premise: Given the new information management technologies, and advances in the understanding of the learning process - there has to be an easier, more efficient method to learn large, complex, and highly intertwined bodies of facts and concepts. As a starting point, the initial efforts focused on something each principal agreed was, and still is, the most needlessly grueling educational experience offered today - Law School. Legal education is steeped in tradition and mired in antiquated teaching methods. Some professors, and schools, are working diligently toward changing these outdated habits, but certainly not as quickly as any current student would desire. Understand... the sheer volume of legal concepts presented in law school, and the complex reasoning skills necessary to comprehend the concepts make learning the law a daunting task. And not every student is willing to put the time and effort into the learning process. But this doesn't mean that the education process shouldn't be made less taxing, and more efficient if the methods are available to do so. At LearningLaw® LLC, we deliver products implementing the next generation teaching and learning models. Several of the LearningLaw® principals, having successfully completed the law school experience with troubled tastes in their mouths, formed the firm to combat the status quo in legal education.
